A large technology company in Canada was shipping electronic equipment worldwide using military standard packaging, desiccant, and a vacuum to prevent corrosion. The process was time consuming and ineffective. They experienced a significant improvement by switching to Cortec®. All that was needed was to wrap the electronic equipment in VpCI®-125 antistatic film and add VpCI®-132 Foam pads inside for extra corrosion protection before crating. The corrosion problems were solved, and the company saved substantial costs by eliminating the vacuum packaging and scaling down on the packaging process and materials used.
